Can you tint the glass roof on a Model 3 or Model Y?

Yes, and plenty of Tesla owners have us do it. The glass roof already has a factory coating, but it is a large flat panel taking the full Central Valley sun, and a ceramic film cuts the infrared that the factory glass lets through. It is priced separately from the door glass because it is one big single pane and takes longer than a normal window. There is no darkness limit on the roof the way there is on the front side windows.

Yes, we recommend giving your car a basic exterior wash before your appointment. This helps us avoid rubbing dry dirt or dust into the paint when working on your vehicle, which can cause scratching.
