Does tinting a Tesla actually help with the heat?

Yes, and on a Tesla it is more noticeable than on most cars because there is so much glass. Ceramic film blocks infrared, the part of sunlight you feel as heat, without having to be dark. Our i3 film rejects up to 93% of infrared and i3+ up to 99%. The climate system has less to fight when you first get in. Ceramic film also does not interfere with phone, GPS or radio signals the way metalized film can.
