How do I wash/care for my car after ceramic coating?

Can I drop off my car early or leave it overnight?
Absolutely. Many customers drop off their cars before work or leave them overnight. Just let us know what works best for your schedule and we’ll accommodate.
Where are you located?
We’re located in Clovis, CA, and proudly serve Fresno and the surrounding Central Valley. Our shop is easy to find, and we’re just minutes away from most parts of Fresno.
How do I get a quote?
You can call, text, or request a quote online in under a minute. We’ll just need your vehicle year, make, model, and what service you’re interested in to get you an accurate estimate.
Do I need an appointment or do you take walk-ins?
We recommend booking an appointment to avoid wait times, but walk-ins are welcome when we have availability. Feel free to call or text us to check for same-day openings.
Should I do anything to my car beforehand?
Yes — we recommend giving your car a basic exterior wash before your appointment. This helps us avoid rubbing dry dirt or dust into the paint when working on your vehicle, which can cause scratching. It also makes it easier for us to get great photos of your car when it’s all done!
Do you have financing options?
Yes! We offer buy now, pay later options through providers like Affirm, Afterpay, and others — so you can split your purchase into easy payments. Just ask us for more details when booking.
Do you work on all types of vehicles?
We work on nearly all types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, Teslas, luxury, and exotic cars. It’s rare that we come across something we can’t work on — but if you have a unique vehicle, feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to confirm.
Is 35% or 20% tint darker?
20% tint is darker than 35%. The VLT (Visible Light Transmission) percentage tells you how much light passes through, the lower the number, the darker the tint. A 20% tint blocks 80% of incoming light, while a 35% tint blocks 65%. Both are popular choices for rear windows since California places no darkness restriction there. For Fresno drivers dealing with intense Central Valley heat, many choose 20% or 5% on the rear for maximum privacy and heat blocking, paired with legal ceramic film on the front windows.
Will I get pulled over for 5 tint in California?
It depends entirely on which windows have 5% tint. If it's your rear side windows and rear windshield, you're completely legal, even in Fresno, and have nothing to worry about. But if your front side windows have 5% tint, yes, you can absolutely be pulled over. Front windows must allow 70% light transmission, making 5% on the front one of the most obvious violations an officer will spot. Fresno law enforcement and CHP officers carry tint meters and can measure your VLT on the spot during any traffic stop.
Is 20% front and 5% back tint illegal in CA?
Yes 20% tint on front side windows is illegal in California. State law requires front side windows to allow at least 70% of light through, so anything darker is a violation and can result in a fix-it ticket. However, 5% tint on rear side windows and the rear windshield is perfectly legal throughout California, including Fresno, as long as your vehicle has working side mirrors. A professional Fresno tint shop will always make sure your front windows are installed to the legal standard so you stay worry-free on the road.
How much does tint usually cost per window?
In Fresno, window tinting costs depend on how much of your car you're covering. Standard film runs around $249 for a full car and ceramic around $389. Coverage options include front 2 windows, back half, windshield, or all doors and back windows, most Fresno drivers find the full car package the best value.
Ceramic film is the smarter long-term investment in Fresno's climate, where temperatures regularly hit 100°F+ for months at a time. It blocks significantly more heat and UV than standard film and typically carries a lifetime warranty. Whether you just want the front two windows done or a full car package, we offer flexible coverage options to fit your needs and budget. How do I care for my paint protection film after installation?
After installation, avoid washing your vehicle for about 7 days. Once cured, you can wash it normally using pH-neutral soaps. Avoid abrasive brushes, harsh chemicals, and automatic car washes to ensure the film stays clear and performs at its best.
Do you offer matte or colored paint protection films?
Yes, we offer matte, gloss, and colored paint protection film options. These films allow you to customize your vehicle’s appearance while still providing the same level of protection as traditional clear PPF.
