Will I get pulled over for 5 tint in California?

It depends entirely on which windows have 5% tint. If it's your rear side windows and rear windshield, you're completely legal, even in Fresno, and have nothing to worry about.

If your front side windows have 5% tint, yes, you can absolutely be pulled over. Front windows must allow 70% light transmission, making 5% up front one of the most obvious violations an officer will spot. Fresno law enforcement and CHP officers carry tint meters and can measure your VLT on the spot during any traffic stop.

How do I get a quote?

Do I need an appointment or do you take walk-ins?

We recommend booking an appointment to avoid wait times, but walk-ins are welcome when we have availability. Feel free to call or text us to check for same-day openings.

Should I do anything to my car beforehand?

Yes, we recommend giving your car a basic exterior wash before your appointment. This helps us avoid rubbing dry dirt or dust into the paint when working on your vehicle, which can cause scratching. It also makes it easier for us to get great photos of your car when it’s all done.

Do you have financing options?

Yes. We offer buy now, pay later options through providers like Affirm, Afterpay, and others, so you can split your purchase into easy payments. Just ask us for more details when booking.

Do you work on all types of vehicles?

We work on nearly all types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, Teslas, luxury, and exotic cars. It’s rare that we come across something we can’t work on, but if you have a unique vehicle, feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to confirm.

Are tinted headlights legal in California?

California does have rules covering headlight and taillight tinting. Headlights must emit white or yellow light and taillights must show red, so anything that changes the color or cuts the output too far is a problem.

The films we install are classified as protection films with a slight shade rather than a color-changing tint, which is what keeps them legal in California.

How far you go still matters. A light or medium shade changes the look with only a modest reduction in output, while very dark films noticeably cut brightness on unlit roads. How long after PPF can I wash my car?

Wait a full seven days after the application before washing your car. That gives the film time to fully cure and bond to the paint.

After that you can wash normally with a pH-neutral soap. Avoid abrasive brushes, harsh chemicals and automatic car washes, which are hard on the edges of the film.

Can you take a car with a ceramic coat through a car wash?

No, it’s best to avoid automated car washes if you have a ceramic-coated vehicle. Automated car washes use recycled water and low-quality brushes that can rub dirt and grit along the ceramic coating, damaging it. It’s best to stick to handwashing only for ceramic-coated vehicles.

Can you wrap just part of the vehicle, or add lettering only?

Yes. Plenty of businesses start with door logos, a phone number and a website, then expand later. Partial wraps and spot graphics are a much lower-cost way to get your branding on the road, and we can always add to them.

Will a wrap damage my vehicle's paint?

Technically it's always possible, but on original factory paint it's very unlikely. The risk goes up if the vehicle has been repainted or had accident repair, because respray work doesn't always bond as well as factory paint and vinyl can lift it during removal. Let us know up front if any panels have been resprayed and we'll talk it through before we start.

How long does a commercial wrap last, and is it covered?

Warranty terms vary by the film brand you go with, so we'll tell you exactly what's covered before you commit. Coverage also differs by panel: horizontal surfaces like hoods and roofs take far more direct sun than vertical panels like doors, and most manufacturers warrant them for shorter periods as a result. That gap is more pronounced here than in milder climates, given Central Valley summers.

How long will my vehicle be off the road?

Most single vehicles are done within a few days once the design is approved, with larger or more complex wraps taking longer. For fleets we stagger the schedule around your operating needs. Tell us how many vehicles you can spare at once and we'll plan around it.

Do you design the graphics, or do I need to supply artwork?

Either works. We handle the whole process from design through installation, so if all you have is a logo we can build the layout around it. If you already have artwork or brand guidelines from your designer, we'll work from those.

How much do commercial vehicle wraps cost in Fresno?
