Should I get PPF or a ceramic coating on my Tesla?

Paint protection film is physical armor, thick enough to absorb a rock before it reaches the paint, which is why it goes on the front end. A ceramic coating is a few microns thick and works chemically. It will not stop a rock, but it resists UV, oxidation, bird droppings and sap, and makes the car far easier to wash. Coatings start at $699 for Essential with a 3-year warranty and run to $2,199 for Ultimate.

Yes, we recommend giving your car a basic exterior wash before your appointment. This helps us avoid rubbing dry dirt or dust into the paint when working on your vehicle, which can cause scratching.
